Lisbon is full of people who arrived recently: for work, to study, or simply to live somewhere with more sun. Making friends here is harder than it looks. Newcomer meetups can be hit or miss, and big group events rarely turn into a second meeting.
A brunch table of six is small enough to talk to everyone and relaxed enough that nobody has to perform. It happens in daylight, it doesn't revolve around drinking, and if you like your table, you can choose to meet the same people again.

The Brunch in Lisbon
Where in Lisbon do the brunches happen?
At partner brunch spots around Lisbon. We book the table and send you the spot on Thursday, so you just arrive. When you sign up, you can tell us your neighbourhood.
Do I need to speak Portuguese?
No. When you sign up, you tell us which languages you speak, and we match tables so everyone can talk. English and Portuguese speakers are both welcome.
When does The Brunch open in Lisbon?
Lisbon is the first city. The first tables open when 50 people in Lisbon have saved a seat. Founding members get the first tables.
How much does The Brunch cost in Lisbon?
The waitlist is free. Brunch is €14.90 a month for a brunch every two weeks, and Brunch + Wellness is €39.90 a month, adding a wellness activity once a month. Nothing is charged at sign-up, and founders keep their price for life.
Can I meet the same people again?
Yes. You choose whether you'd like the same group every brunch or a different group each time, so if you click with your table, you can keep it.
Is The Brunch a dating app?
No. The Brunch is about friendship: tables are matched for good conversation.
